The Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland presents Jewish CLE Info, both a mobile application for the iPhone and iTouch as well as a mobile-friendly web version for other devices. Available for free as “Jewish Cleveland” at the iTunes App Store, and as a mobile-friendly site at www.jewishcleveland.org, Jewish CLE Info is the definitive on-the-go resource for Greater Cleveland’s Jewish community.

The first of its kind for any Jewish Federation in the country, the launch of Jewish CLE Info and the Jewish Cleveland iPhone application is a milestone achievement that uses social media and collaborative tools to centralize the multiple sources of information Jewish Clevelanders have at their disposal. Jewish CLE Info provides Jewish Clevelanders with the ability to engage in and contribute to a stronger centralized Jewish presence online and in their communities in real time.

Thanks to a community-wide collaboration between the Federation’s partner agencies and other Jewish organizations, Jewish CLE Info provides information about events, organizations, news, and links to the Federation’s social media sites all in one place.

Jewish CLE Info includes:

  • Community Calendar – A comprehensive calendar from Jewish organizations that lists events, classes, exhibits, lectures, workshops, social outings, family-friendly activities and more.
  • Community Directory – A wide range of resources, contact information and more from synagogues and schools to restaurants, shops and service providers.
  • Interactive Map – Find dozens of locations in Jewish Cleveland.
  • Connect – Easy access to the Jewish Cleveland YouTube video channel, hundreds of event photos and the Federation’s Twitter page.

The Jewish CLE iPhone app was developed by Cleveland based iNomadics, a technology group that focuses on mobile application development and training.

For more information, please contact the Federation’s Digital Information and Marketing Strategist, Shmuel Kessler, at 216.566.9200, ext. 181 or at skessler@jcfcleve.org.

Established in 1903, the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland makes possible a wide array of social and educational services with the support of thousands of community members as well as agencies, synagogues, schools and international humanitarian organizations. These activities benefit 40,000 people in Cleveland’s Jewish and general communities and hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The work of the Federation is made possible by the annual Campaign for Jewish Needs, supporting foundations, philanthropic and endowment funds, and the Centennial Initiative.
