NESHAMA CARLEBACH in concert with Reverend Roger Hambrick and Members of the Green Pastures Baptist Church Choir – THE UNITY TOUR

Prepare to be captivated by the gift of song on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, as Siegal College presents a true Neshama Carlebachinterfaith concert event, Neshama Carlebach’s Unity Tour.  Join us for a special evening concert that will have people of all ages and backgrounds dancing in the aisles with the unique blend of gospel sound and incomparable melodies created by Neshama Carlebach and Reverend Roger Hambrick.  Held at 26600 Shaker Blvd, in the new Fuchs Mizrachi School building, the concert will begin at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $36 for general admission and $45 for preferred seating.  Group and student discounts are also available.  For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 216-464-4050 or visit http://registration.siegalcollege.edu/neshama.php .

As one of the leading superstars in Jewish Entertainment, Neshama Carlebach is continuing the legacy established by her father Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, as his deep spirituality, and his love of all humanity filled every song he wrote and touched every person he encountered, changing the face of music.  Like her father, Neshama’s talent and charisma captivate and endear her to people of all ages and backgrounds as she performs in cities all over the world.

“My father always said that when we sing, it’s like we’re praying twice,” said Neshama Carlebach.  “When I am on stage I experience prayer in the deepest sense. In this crazy world, sadly enough, people often are too afraid to feel. We are too terrified to open our souls to our deepest prayers, yet so broken at all we are missing inside.  Somehow, when we don’t have the words to express all that we need, music says it for us.  Music can somehow break our hearts and allow us to feel so whole all at the same time. “

“Siegal College is thrilled to present the Cleveland community with such a distinctive interfaith concert experience,” said Brian Amkraut, Siegal College Provost. “We hope people of all ages attend what is truly a Unity Tour.”
