JFSA- Easing the Burden of College Tuition

March 2, 2011 at 2:56 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

At a time when college tuition is skyrocketing, Jewish Family Service Association is helping Jewish students in Greater Cleveland advance their education. In 2010, JFSA awarded 216 students with $908,983 dollars in need-based grants, interest-free loans and scholarships. The deadline for grants, loans and scholarships is April 14,  2011.

To be eligible for consideration for aid, a family’s income should not exceed $100,000 annually. Exceptions to this rule are made in unique circumstances. Funds are distributed each August for the fall term. Both full and part-time students in undergraduate or graduate studies can apply once a year. For a complete list of available scholarships and criteria, please go to www.jfsa-cleveland.org.

For more information, please contact Toby Bresky, Manager of Scholarships and Financial Aid at 216-378-3429 or tbresky@jfsa-cleveland.org.
